Br. Benet was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on Nov. 28, 1963. Made simple profession of vows on July 11, 1986 and solemn profession on July 11, 1989. Earned a BA in religious studies with a minor in history from Benedictine College in Kansas in 1990. Graduated in December 1992 with a MLIS from the University of Oklahoma. He has been working as a librarian for St. Gregory's University since then.

Nancy Golas-Flinn Ludwin lives in New Bedford, MA. She is married with two grown sons, Ryan and Rory Flinn. She has a degree in fashion design from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, a BA in English and an MA in Professional Writing from UMass-Dartmouth.
