How to Submit Reviews to Northeast Book Reviews

Northeast Book Reviews welcomes reviews from readers! This is your chance to tell people around the globe about books you enjoyed.

First things first: What are we looking for?

Original content — That's what we're looking for. If you decide to submit a review to Northeast Book Reviews, we want that review to be published here first. You the reviewer own the content and we are happy to have you post your review elsewhere once we have posted it here first.

We are happy to have you review a book that you already have in your possession or to request a review copy for  you from a publisher.

As part of our due diligence, we will Google snippets from every review that is submitted to ensure, to the best of our ability, that the content is original. We will not post reviews that have been posted elsewhere first.

A few guidelines:

• Any length. 300-1,000 words is a good range.
• Please include these elements when possible: title, author, publisher, date of publication, price, number of pages, paperback/soft cover/ hardcover, and ISBN. Our review submission form will ask for all of this information.
• If your review contains spoilers of the plot of a novel, please note that
• If you didn't care for the book you are reviewing, that's fine — just explain why without bashing
• You retain the copyright. Reviews from Northeast Book Reviews make great clips for working and/or aspiring writers. We do ask that reviews are published here first. You are free to publish your review elsewhere after it appears on our site.
