Review: Fun! This book "The Mayor of Central Park" by award writer AVI, was written for pure fun!
My imagination was on overload as I jumped into the middle of these larger than life characters.
AVI takes an impossible situation (rats overtaking Central Park) and pulls out an equally impossible solution.
He takes many different personalities and works them into a winning team. Oscar Westerwit, a squirrel and mayor of Central Park, must pit his wits against Big Daddy Duds and his gang of thugs. What can one do against so many? The answer lies in a lesson every parent tries to drum into a childs mind "if you are in trouble and you need help...ASK FOR IT!!!" Time after time as the story unfolds, you will find characters asking for and getting help. That's truly the undercurrent of this tale.
