Business Statistics on the Web: Find Them Fast - At Little or No Cost By Paula Berinstein, Charles Cotton
Review: I've spent many years using a variety of sources for statistics. I must say Business Statistics on the Web is one of the most pleasurable sources I've seen. I can hardly say "it reads like a novel," but that is not the point. Anyone who has used the Internet to find things knows how time consuming this can be and how much of it is hit or miss. Ms. Berinstein's book provides a great way to do this. She does mention www.google.com in the beginning, which I liked. Google is still a way to go and updates are constantly needed, because anyone who uses the web, knows how quickly sites can change. There are many different chapters to suit different research needs. You would not sit there and read this cover to cover. Who should read this? Anyone from advanced high school students on up should be able to use it. High School Students should be able to use the book for their papers, as should all types of college students. Advanced researchers should not snub it either. It will always come in handy for something. Every public library should have one copy in reference and as many circulating copies as they need. You will refer to it again and again. I want to close by saying, I just hope Ms. Berinstein does constant updates. — Reviewed by: Michael
