Comments about the author: Taro writes to inspire hope, love, and joy in every reader's heart. He was the youngest editor of America's premiere journals of Eastern thought, "Living Buddhism" and "World Tribune," and he has written extensively for international spiritual publications. His essays have been published around the world in seven languages, and his book "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life" has recently been printed in Korea, Israel, and Brazil.

Review: This book is a lovely exploration of the concepts of love, using quotations from various religious texts as well as from noted authors. Augmented by splendid illustrations, the book explains the Buddhist concepts without discounting other traditions. Although one could read this book quickly, it should be savored over time, to reflect upon the various quotes, and absorb the perspectives that are presented. I can well see this as a gift book to anyone who has sought and/or found love. Its messages are clear, and the beauty of its pages is arresting.
